25 Years in the Hudson Valley

Our Henry Hudson demographic has been widening due to our more central location, spreading west and south into Orange County, Mid-Hudson area of New York State. We have members from Newburgh, New Windsor, Monroe, Middletown, Slate Hill, New Paltz, Cornwall, Salisbury Mills, Washingtonville, Pine Bush, Central Valley, Monroe, and other towns.

What We Do

At Henry Hudson Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. We have been an active club for over 20 years! Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation. Our current membership includes New Yorkers from all walks of life, different age generations, and with varied careers.

“The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; . . .

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
— I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
